To escape reality for a while. Not to forget the current state (stay informed Kids), but to give our thoughts a moment to rest.
I really try to not worry too much, but as always this is easier said than done. I have elderly family members who I love so much and care about more than anything else. I miss my family like crazy. My heart aches for those who have to give up their passion because they can no longer finance it.
I also have a deep rage burning inside me, because people losing their lives, losing their existence (I’m self-employed & a worried anxious mess) and there are still so many idiots who celebrate these weeks as if they were additional holidays.
So I’m even more grateful that my family is healthy, that I’m able to self-isolate with my Boyfriend and that there are so many people out there who are doing everything they can to help us return to a state of normality. Cheers to you!
It’s just a lot of emotions and feelings we have to deal with right now. But it won’t be like this forever, so let’s hang in there!
So I was a bit unsure wether I should post here, because I myself am not very interested in fashion at the moment. However, I’m happy for anything that stops my thoughts and distract me for a while.
And I still had these fun photos left that we obviously shot a while ago.
To be quite honest, we haven’t touched our big camera since we’re in self-isolation. It simply feels so wrong to get all ready and pose in front of a camera. I actually haven’t even thought about it.
Instead I’m shooting some content on my phone, mostly behind the camera, to keep my creative juices flowing. Otherwise I would lose it completely.
These are actually shot on a digital Camera, but maybe we played around a bit and ended up with a shopping bag strapped over the lense. Trust me, you don’t want to be part of my creative thought processes sometimes, it’s a wild ride.
But this Denim Overall with a basic Turtle Neck sweater underneath was just screaming all the 70’s vibes at me. And that is a calling I cannot ignore.
So we went all out with the Vintage vibes.
I actually can’t wait until I can finally get some real film developed again. Because no matter how hard you try, you will never reach the Kodak Portra perfection.
But until then, my trash bag art has to do the job.
STAY SAFE & HEALTHY GUYS. AND NEVER BE AN IDIOT.
